Cloudcure

Cloudcure is an online program built around metabolic health: you take a quiz, complete blood work, meet a clinician by video, then follow a program that combines medication where appropriate with coaching and medical follow-ups.

Who it suits

Good fit if

  • You want blood work and a clinician visit before a treatment plan is made.
  • You want a coach and a structured program alongside the prescription.
  • You want scheduled medical follow-ups over the first year.
  • You are comfortable with a monthly membership that is separate from the cost of medication.
  • You want a plan option that does not include medication.

Less suited if

  • You want the simplest, fastest route to a prescription.
  • You want one monthly price that includes the medication.
  • You would rather not visit a lab for blood work.
  • You live in a province Cloudcure does not list, such as New Brunswick or Prince Edward Island.

We read Cloudcure’s home page and medical weight loss page on 3 October 2026. This page explains how the program works as Cloudcure publishes it. The comparison table and provider card carry the same ten fields we record for every provider. Cloudcure’s website is at joincloudcure.com.

How sign-up works

Cloudcure describes four steps. First a three-minute quiz on your medical history and metabolic health. Second, a lab requisition for metabolic blood work at a medical laboratory near you. Third, a meeting with a clinician to build a treatment plan, described as a one-to-one video consultation. Fourth, the program itself, with medication, one-to-one coaching, a curriculum and medical follow-ups.

The weight loss page describes a 12-month structure in phases, and a curriculum based on cognitive behavioural therapy principles, with a coach who meets with you regularly. Cloudcure says prescriptions are at the sole discretion of the treating clinician. General eligibility is age 18 or older with a BMI (a ratio of weight to height) of 27 and a related health condition, or higher, with other factors reviewed by the clinician.

What is included and what costs extra

Cloudcure sells a monthly membership, with plans that include medication management and a plan without medication. Medication is billed separately. Cloudcure says the evaluation, lab work and first consultation are included in the membership, and that new members get at least a first month at no charge. Current plan prices and the date we last confirmed them are in the provider card.

Between visits you can use the Cloudcure app to track progress and message the care team, and coaching is part of the program. Optional coaching is listed on the lower-priced plan, so check which plan includes what before you choose.

On coverage, Cloudcure says some private plans may cover its care plans and prescriptions and that health spending accounts can be used. See our coverage guides for how provincial and private plans treat the drugs.

How your medication arrives

Cloudcure says it offers free, discreet shipping across Canada, and that medication is filled through partner pharmacies. It states that it is not itself a pharmacy. The pages we read do not name the pharmacies.

Where it is available and what we have not confirmed

Cloudcure lists service in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec and Saskatchewan. You must be 18 or older and live in a province where it is available.

We classify Cloudcure as a metabolic program: lab work comes before a plan, and the program adds scheduled follow-ups, coaching and a curriculum around the prescription. It also offers hormone health and PCOS programs, but weight and metabolic care is its core. Read the care models guide and the providers overview to compare it with other services, or see our methodology.
